Exit Planning – Improving Business Value

Exit Planning includes everything from selling your start-up so you can move on to another to planning for the next generation in a family-run business your grandfather started.  Too many succession plans fail, not because they weren’t good succession plans, but because the planning that should have been done before the succession plan was developed didn’t get done effectively.  Problems range from unexpected tax issues to lower valuations to founders miserable watching what happens to “their baby.”  And what if the exit isn’t voluntary?

In addition to addressing current trends, this presentation will cover evaluating multiple risks, mismatched expectations, assessing current business value and enhancing value prior to implementing a succession or exit plan.
